We are hours away from the launching of the iPhone 12. Apple officially announced its iPhone 12 event on yesterday Tuesday, hinting it with the tagline “Hi, Speed.” There’s a lot to expect at the event and we like to share with your some of what is expected.

What time is Apple’s iPhone 12 event?

Apple’s iPhone 12 event will take place today October 13 at 6p.m Nigeria's time that's 17:00 GMT. It will be completely virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic, much like Apple’s WWDC keynote and the Apple Watch event last month.

What to expect from Apple’s October 13 launch event?

1. iPhone 12 Flagship: You should expect the launch of four new Apple's iPhone smartphones, hinted to be called, the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. The iPhone 12 mini will be the smallest of them, with a screen size of 5.4-inches, followed by iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro, with a screen size of 6.1-inches, and the iPhone 12 Pro Max with a 6.7-inch display, will probably be the largest iPhone yet. All these smartphones will come with 5G support. 

2. A new HomePod: There are also rumors of  a new Homepad which is slightly smaller than the current Homepod and is said to be priced at $99.

3. AirTags: AirTags which are smaller Bluetooth tracking devices that will help you track your Apple devices is also rumored to be launching in today's event.

4. Airpot Studio: There are a few rumors suggesting that Apple is developing a pair of high-end, wireless over-ear headphones that might be launched today. Instead of the usual Beats headphones,  the headphones will be Apple-branded and may be called AirPods X or AirPods Studio.
