Google accidentally reveals October 8 launch for Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 5

Earlier this week, Google unveiled the Pixel 4a smartphone and immediately the $350 phone is fast becoming one of the best options in the mid-range circle of smartphones, thanks to its outstanding camera capabilities. Although the Pixel 4a is a 4G-only enabled phone, the Company has revealed plans to debut a 5G variant for the Pixel 4a and a Pixel 5.

However, Google has not shared details to when the 5G-enabled phones will be available, but a slide goof from Google France has given us a better idea to when we should expect the device. In an official blog post announcing the Pixel 4a , the write-up had a mention of the pre-order dates for the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5, with both devices set to be up for pre-order from October 8 and this was spotted by the guys at 9to5Google.

The post has since been updated but the cached version read:

The Pixel 4a will be available in France on October 01, 2020 and for pre-order from September 10, 2020 on the Google Store, Bouygues Telecom, Orange, SFR, FNAC / Darty and Boulanger. The Pixel 4a (5G) and Pixel 5 will be available for pre-order from October 8, 2020.

With previous Pixel launches in mind, the October 8 leaked date fits in perfectly, and users wouldn't have to wait much longer to have a taste of what Google has lined up for them.
