Earlier on, Samsung had confirmed that the Galaxy A42 5G will cost about $437 when it released in November. This will make the Galaxy A42 5G cheaper than the current lowest-priced Samsung 5G phone — the Galaxy A51 5G which is priced at $500.

The company has also revealed a few more specs of the soon coming Galaxy A42 5G. It packs a 5,000mAh battery, and its quad-camera setup consists of a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 5MP macro lens, and a 5MP depth camera. There’s a 20MP selfie shooter upfront.

According to a recently leaked source code of the Galaxy A42 5G's benchmark, the device is running Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 750G chipset. Although, the Snapdragon 750G wasn't yet around as at this point, but for a device running at 2.21 GHz and six more ticking at 1.8 GHz along with the Adreno 619 GPU its most likely certain it will be powered by the Snapdragon 750G.

Samsung also confirmed a 10.4-inch screen, 80% screen/body ratio, metal design, and quad Dolby Atmos speakers for the Galaxy Tab A7.s
